Managing director George Baxter began his career in the late 1970s, working on boats in the North Sea before moving into the business side of the industry.
George now supplies a number of the finest restaurants in Scotland as well as many of the country’s best fish and chip shops.
He also runs a busy fishmongers in the Bruntsfield area of Edinburgh and a shop in Kilsyth, outside Glasgow. George has been selling fish and seafood online to customers throughout the UK for more than 10 years. Experience has shown him that once customers taste the quality of his products their loyalty quickly follows.
The key to George’s success is in the name of his online venture. “Fish has to be fresh,” he says. “Freshness is everything.”

Many of the fish we sell are the result of bravery, hard work and years of experience.
The journey begins with the crews of fishing boats, who work long hours in often hazardous conditions to bring back their catch.
When they return to shore the catch is then sold at the market and transported to our premises, where the fish are prepared, vacuum-sealed, packaged and delivered to your door within 24 hours.
