Description

We’ve created the Special Feast Box for those who want to go the extra mile and take a celebratory meal to another level. Whether it’s a wedding anniversary, a landmark birthday or a get-together with family and friends, the selection of fish and seafood will delight your fellow diners and ensure an unforgettable occasion. 

Saving over 10% on the cost of the individual products, the Special Feast Box contains:

1kg halibut fillets
1kg monkfish fillets
500g scallops
500g salmon slices – smoked

As a rough guide, the contents will feed 6-10 people. All products come vacuum-packed so you can freeze any surplus items and cook them at a later date.

Storage

We recommend eating your preferred quantity of fillets, scallops and smoked salmon within three days of delivery – keep refrigerated between 0˚C and 5˚C – and freezing the remainder on the day of delivery, consuming within two months. We recommend defrosting overnight in the fridge. 

How We Package Your Fish and Seafood

1. We vacuum pack fish portions in pairs and whole fish individually. We vacuum pack scallops in quantities of 500g. Oysters and lobsters are placed in a box. 
2. Each portion is then clearly labelled with the species, who packed it, the date it was packed and a fresh use-by date.
3. We add frozen chill packs, which contain non-toxic gel, to a polystyrene box.
4. We pack your order so the chill packs distribute the cold evenly throughout your fish and seafood, ensuring maximum freshness.
5. We seal the box with packing tape and hand it to our courier, who will deliver it to you within 24 hours.

Is there a minimum order value?

No.

How much does delivery cost?

From Wednesday to Friday, delivery for orders under £60 costs £4.95. Orders over £60 qualify for free delivery.

On a Saturday, delivery for orders under £100 costs £9.99. Orders over £100 qualify for free delivery.

Which courier do you use and where do you deliver to?

We work with APC Direct and deliver anywhere on the UK mainland where 24-hour delivery is available.

When do you deliver?

Our delivery days are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Due to the nature of the fresh fish supply chain and to ensure you receive the freshest possible fish and seafood at an affordable price, we do not deliver on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday.

Where do you source your fish from?

Each product page clearly says where it comes from. We deal with a range of suppliers, including fish markets in north-east Scotland and reputable aquaculture businesses on the north-west coast of Scotland and in East Lothian. Freshness and quality mean everything to us and we only engage with partners who share our values.

Can you advise on the amount of fish to buy for a special occasion?

We recommend allowing a portion size of between 160g and 200g per person. However if you are catering for a larger amount of people than normal or planning a special meal then our team of fishmongers will be happy to advise you. Call us on 01506 894088 or email, Tuesday to Saturday.
