Lobster has been the most prized shellfish for centuries and rightly so – not only is the sweet and intensely flavoured flesh without comparison, but they’re also a source of large doses of protein, vitamin B12 and copper.
The European lobster has a blue-black shell that turns red when cooked, leading to its reputation as the “cardinal of the seas”. The bulk of the luxurious meat is contained within the first pair of claws and the abdomen or tail, the latter meat being often cut into medallions.
Dishes worth trying include lobster thermidor, lobster ravioli and lobster with linguine.
Our lobsters are sold Fresh and should be cooked as soon after delivery as possible. Stun them by putting them in a bag in the freezer (at least -10˚C) for two hours, then plunge them into a pan of boiling water.
Our lobsters are caught in creels in the north-east Atlantic.

Lobster is best eaten as fresh as possible. Keep refrigerated between 0˚C and 5˚C and consume within two days of delivery. We do not recommend freezing lobster.
1. We vacuum pack fish portions in pairs and whole fish individually. Scallops are also vacuum packed, while oysters and lobsters are placed in a box.
2. Each portion is then clearly labelled with the species, who packed it, the date it was packed and a fresh use-by date.
3. We add frozen chill packs, which contain non-toxic gel, to a polystyrene box.
4. We pack your order so the chill packs distribute the cold evenly throughout your fish and seafood, ensuring maximum freshness.
5. We seal the box with packing tape and hand it to our courier, who will deliver it to you within 24 hours.
From Wednesday to Friday, delivery for orders under £40 costs £4.95. Orders over £40 qualify for free delivery.
On a Saturday, delivery for orders under £100 costs £9.99. Orders over £100 qualify for free delivery.
We work with APC Direct and deliver anywhere on the UK mainland where 24-hour delivery is available.

Unlike some of our competitors, when you buy fresh fish from us you can be sure it’s exactly that – always FRESH, never frozen.
Many of the fish we sell are the result of bravery, hard work and years of experience.
The journey begins with the crews of fishing boats, who work long hours in often hazardous conditions to bring back their catch.
When they return to shore the catch is then sold at the market and transported to our premises, where the fish are prepared, vacuum-sealed, packaged and delivered to your door within 24 hours.
It’s a philosophy we’re immensely proud of, one that reflects our commitment to our products and our dedication to serving our customers.
Always FRESH, never frozen.
